About Southern California Barricades
Southern California Barricades is a licensed C31 work zone traffic control company that can provide equipment and services for all aspects of a traffic control project. SCB can assist with design and agency approval of traffic plans, and will implement all required MUTCD compliant traffic control equipment on either a rental or sales basis. SCB provides experienced traffic control labor with high quality trucks for installation, maintenance and takedowns, or we can deliver the equipment for use by your personnel.

Andrew Ramirez
Project Manager
A certified Traffic Control Supervisor with 15 years of experience, Andrew works closely with contractors, government agencies and event promoters to satisfy all customer requirements to ensure the project is done right and on time. He manages the company’s various projects from initial evaluation and proposal to all aspects of project management.
Danny Sapian
Operations Manager
Initially starting his career over 20 years ago as a traffic control technician, Daniel has moved up the ranks into our executive team as Operations Manager. He has developed a wide range of skills in implementing work zone traffic management plans from single lane closures to complex street and highway closures. Getting any work zone up and running safely is his specialty.
Luis Granados
Business Development Manager
Luis oversees Southern California Barricades' business development initiative. As a member of the executive leadership team, Luis joined us in December 2019 and brings with him over 25 years of sales expertise from the financial services and traffic control industries. He has an open consultative management style, is immensely customer centric and has a can-do attitude to business.
Alec Hernandez
Field Superintendent
Alec began working in Southern California Barricades just before his 19th birthday. From the start, he learned everything he could about the traffic control business and began assisting highway crews as a Flagger and then a Traffic Control Technician. He has held positions in our Traffic Control Division in the field, as well as a Dispatcher, Mechanic, Supervisor, and, eventually to his current role as Field Superintendent.
Rick LaPierre
President
As President for Southern California Barricades, with over four decades of heavy highway and road construction, Rick enjoys mentoring the SCB team on their individual career paths and success, instilling in them the attitude that “customer service is, has been, and always will be the top-priority."
Dani Westmoreland
Designer & Permit Manager
Dani proven track record of designing safe and efficient plans for over seven years.
Her expertise lies in ensuring compliance with MUTCD, Caltrans Standard plans, local agency regulations, while utilizing design software to create clear and comprehensive plans. Dani's knowledge of city, county and State agencies across California give her the ability to submit, maintain and amend all required permits for every new and ongoing project.
James D. Sprinkel
Founder/Retired/Consulting Advisor
Original founder of Southern California Barricades, James has been in the construction industry for over 45 years. He currently advises the SCB team in all aspects of the business, with valued importance to provide personal attention to all customers. In addition to providing his expertise, he currently enjoys his free time either on land or sea with friends and family in exotic locations.
